Narnia Fan Fiction Story Pt. #1

Lucy Pevencie walked the beaches of The Bight of Calorman, the shadow of Cair Paravel rising from the cliffs behind her. The young Queen looked out at the sun rising over the sea. Her brown hair blowing in the breeze. The dolphins jumped and played in the sun streaked water . The water nymphs waved playfully at the Queen who waved back at them. Lucy sipped off her shoes and allowed the cold reaching fingers of the sea to wash over her bare feet.

“Lucy, you better not be riding the dolphins again.” Edmund’s voice

“Edmund. Right on time.”

Lucy grabbed her shoes of the sandy beach and began walking with Edmund up the side of the beach where two horses stood, ready to carry their royal charges to the castle. Lucy mounted her horse and began lopeing almost emediately. Edmund, meanwhile was just mounting Phillip. “Are we going to catch her or..?” “You bet, Phillip.”

Lucy and Edmund’s footsteps echoed in the hall as they attempted to tiptoe through the halls to their chambers. Lucy’s in the east, and Edmund’s in the west. As they came to the corridor where the compass center would be, Lucy hugged Edmund goodnight and walked down the hall, the wet hem of her dress dragging behind her.

Lucy pushed open the huge pink and gold doors to her chamber. She let her dress fall to the ground, slipped on her silk nightgown, and climbed the stair well to her loft style bed and crawled under her lush covers.

Hi, everyone. I hope that you enjoyed the first part of my Cair Paravel short story series. I am a total Narnia geek and can’t wait to dive into the tiny parts of the time between the crowning of the Pevencees and the hunting of the white stag.

Best Wishes,
